  1. Sorry liquor and soda is extra. Meals and a cabin is what is included. Most ships will automatically charge your account for tips. I would check with carnival cruise lines and ask what the going rate is for tips.

here is a good site for additional questions you may have.

    good luck and enjoy)

  2. all of your food and non alcoholic beverages are included.  YOu wil have to pay for any alcoholic beverages you consume

  3. All foods in the restaurant as well as buffet are free as well as the all sodas, lemonade, coffee and tea.  You can get pizza all day long but if you order and alcoholic beverages in the restaurant you wold have to pay for it. I only tip the final day when I was leaving because you will be seated at the same table every night so you will have your own personal waiters (2). There is the early sitting for dinner or the late sitting.  In the buffet section there is wide variety of foods and desserts and also a machine to get drink.  The drink is very poor, it is like Koolaid, apple and something like lemonade.  Some sections of the buffet usually close off early because they have to go and prepare for dinner.

The gym and sauna are also free but if you want a treatment in the spa it will cost you. Anything you do off the ship including any tours or taxi are not included.  On the other hand, the tours from the ship are more expensive that if you go and solicit them yourself.  Money is not spent on the ship, everything is done with the ship pass.  You have to register your credit card and it will be link to your pass which you would also use to gain entry to your cabin and on the ship.

The shows in the theater are also free and there are a lot of them (two each night).  There is also the Captain's ball where you have to dress up and that is the only time that you will get alcohol free.  There is also line dancing, karaoke and a disco.  Obviously you know you have to pay for the drinks in the disco.

There are some great bargains on the ship in terms of drinks (duty free), costmetics, bags and jewelrey are reasonable. It is a great experience so I hope you will enjoy it. I hope Barbados is in your itinerary.

  4. I've gone on Carnival Cruises.  You have to pay for liquor. All of the food is included.  Soda is included. They generally recommend that you don't tip.  I just did the 18% for drinks while on the cruise.

You have to pay for most of the off the boat excursions.  Like tours.  They can be as little as 50 dollars or go up to 200 bucks, depending on the travel times and if meals are included on the tours.

  5. Most cruise lines including Carnival are not all inclusive. That term usually refers to resorts. Cruises however are a great travel deal. Your cost includes your cabin, all food (including room service but excluding specialty restaurants) your transportation to each port, movies and shows and dancing in the clubs. I think it is the best deal in travel.

You will pay extra for alcohol, soft drinks, photos, shopping, shore excursions and tips for the staff. Go to cruisecritic.com for more questions and answers.

  6. I have taken a Carnival Cruise also in Feb. It includes all meals. 5 or 6 meals a day. Your choice of sit down or buffet. It does not include any alcholic drinks.  It also does  not include any excursions when docked. Any activities on ship are included. Tips are also included
