I am taking a trip to Montreal and Quebec this August can anyone make recommendations?

I am 29 and enjoy exploring new cities. I am over loud clubs but I am interested in any recommendations of places to stay, bars, or resturants in either Montreal or Quebec.

This is a great time to to visit Quebec as its the 400th anniversary of Quebec City! If you don't really want to do the bar scene, look for Inns (Auberge) in Old Montreal. Call 1-800-O-CANADA for more information about the Quebec 400. I've stayed in a lot of really nice B&B's near the wall, try that.
