I love Michaleno's on the River walk

What ever you do Don't go to Landry's Chart House in the Tower of the America's. Terrible service and food and very pricey!!

You'll probably want to go to the Riverwalk, and my recommendation is Paesanos. The food is delicious and it is more romantic than most places on the Riverwalk. Avoid places like the County Line and Rio Rio.

My boyfriend and I recently went there for our anniversary and it was perfect.

It's called the Riverwalk, It is a nice romantic place on a river, where there is nice restaurants, and clubs, and you can take a nice romantic boat ride down the river.

I don't want to be a party pooper, but if you go to Biga On The Banks or Ruth's Chris...you better have some serious cash on you--I mean with 4 dollar a gallon gas and all that--I don't know how people can do that--I mean working folks, not trust fund folks!

Take him to Little Italy's on West Avenue and mention to them that you'd like a romantic spot. It is a wonderful restaurant which is reasonable and you'll enjoy it very much. If you want ambience, then try the Hotel Valencia, a little pricy, on the riverwalk or the top of the Tower of Americas. For fun, go to the Magic Time Machine. Pam H has your best answer - I've lived in San Antonio for almost 10 yrs, and the Grey Moss Inn on the NW side of SA is THE place for a beautiful romantic dinner :-)!

Either that, or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on Jones Maltsberger - on a NON-busy night or later in the evening (8ish).

Dolores del Rio is the BEST!! It is on the River Walk it has a romantic, fun atmosphere!! You will have a GREAT time!!

I live in san antonio and I can honestly say, there is one great part about it. The riverwalk. When its not the holiday season its a amazing place to go. There are many places to eat and its a nice walk, and the river is beautiful
