  1. make sure you get their early as she normally has the longest lines..

    Go Helio

  2. you shouldn't have any trouble meeting her since you have tickets. me and my friends snuck into the pits last year at the glen and met her and her crew members lol.

but yeah let danica patrick inspire your daughter.....i hope your daughter turns out just like danica........

  3. see if they have an autograoh signings, thats usually a good spot, or during practice and quals you could just walk around near pit lane

  4. All I can say is "Good Luck" trying to meet her.  I've seen her at Indy too many time stick her nose in the air and walk past fans who wanted autographs or pictures with her.  She is not very fan friendly.  Many of the other drivers are nicer and will sign autographs or take pictures with you.

  5. Couple of suggestions:

    1.  You have tickets to the FanFest - excellent.  It starts at 8pm.  Be patient - the IndyCar Qualifications start at 6:30, and will go at least 60-75 minutes.  So - there may be some tired drivers afterwards that may or may not have time to clean up, esp. if it's a hot day/evening.  Danica's line will unquestionably be the longest, so be there early, if you can.

    2.  IndyCar practices on the 8th are from 11:15-1pm and from 2:45-4:45pm.  If you have pit or garage passes (not sure regarding age limits), but there might be a chance to get her autograph as well there.

    3.  If you from the area, keep you eyes/ears out for driver appearances.  Danica may be making an appearance somewhere (Meijer was mentioned - though I would expect Meijer to have Marco, since Meijer is a bigger sponsor of Marco's car than Danica's).

As you and your daughter probably know, Danica is in demand at tracks, so in case you aren't fortunate to meet her, you might head over to the IndyCar Series's tents and pick up a few things.  I'm also sure the "Danica Racing Store" will also be there, and there are some autographed things there, too - of course, for a cost.

If you've never been to Kentucky Speedway, it is one of the most fan- and family-friendly race tracks I've been to.  I had a fantastic time last year, and I'm taking a family member this year.  You and your daughter will enjoy the experience!  Have fun!

  6. Heres what you do from an expirienced race fan you half to buy garage pass's

then you hang out outside danicas garage and or trailer depending on the time of day(Morning trailer)

  7. I bet she'll make an appearance at the Florence Meijer, seeing that Meijer is one of her sponsors. Try to go there. Early. Very Early. Heck, our Meijer up here in West Chester has a bunch of Danica Patrick Banners hanging from the ceiling.

  8. If you do get to meet her have your daughter get something signed by her, that should make a lasting memory for her.

  9. lol@Chuck.  That would be nice for your little girl.  Have her dress up in a Motorola drivers suit.

  10. the Fan Day tickets may help but Danica's line is LONG and even when she stays overtime, she still has to turn people away sometimes...(that's where the majority of Danica haters come from).. just enjoy the tickets and get some ink from guys like TK, Helio, Wheldon or Dixon..don't just spend your whole day in one line.

  11. Try to enjoy the entire day and the entire experience.  There is a lot more there to enjoy than just meeting Danica.

  12. crash into her..she'll meet her real fast!

  13. well autographs are good but this is me, some 1 who lives in Indy and knows Danica. Dont meet her. she is s****. and acts all like she is better than every1 try an autograph from some 1 else like John Andretti if he is there he is a VERY nice man
