I am taking my g/f for a day up town on Saturday!?

Anybody recommend a nice place to go for lunch? I am thinking maybe around Camden Town or Around Covent Garden!

A nice treat is the hot dog guy on the corner of 135th on the west side.

His stand is a little smelly, but the food is good and cheap. She'll love it.

i would take her to covent garden it is a better place & you have a lot more restaurants to pick from got to china town up there you get a good meal that isnt to expensive try mr woos hope this helps

If you're on a budget and still want to go somewhere nice, you should go to Browns near Covent Garden.  It's a very nice looking restaurant - smart but not fancy - and the food is good.

Punch and Judy pub in Covent garden or if she likes Japanese Wagamamas behind Covent garden is good.

If you want to splash out in Camden, then Gilgamesh.  There's also a great Vietnamese across from the Dublin Castle pub.

Covent Garden has so many of different price ranges that you will probably want to "play it by ear" and just see what takes your fancy.
