  2. I visited Llandudno for the first time a couple of months ago and it was quiet, well kept, clean, trouble free and a real joy.   Drove through Rhyll and it was so trashy with hundreds of people that appeared to find it a great attraction but, everything and everbody there lacked a certain something - I'll say no more than that.

Anyway, onto wonderful Llandudno (can't wait to re-visit).   Home Cookin'  at 139, Upper Mostyn Street has  great food at a good price and the restaurant is very pleasent.   I found the rest to be quite expensive.

If you are looking for romance, drive into Conwy Bay at night - beautiful.   A visit to the castle is something to fill time but of course that would be in the day time.

There is an Indian restaurant in Conwy Bay that looks very simple and quite bland but the food is nice.   There is one guy who works there that has worked around, York Bradford and Leeds, he's actually really chatty if you make the effort.

    Enjoy your trip!

  4. A friend recently had a good meal at Osborne Bar & Grill

  5. NOW that's something you don't hear very often?

    Nice & Llandudno?

  6. There is only one place to eat on a romantic weekend in Llandudno.....St Tudno's fantastic food and brilliant service.  The decor is over the top (see link) but nothing to spoil your meal.  We eat there whenever we are over (my wifes family are from there).

Get dressed up and take the full evening - they do some nice hors d'ourves with your aperitif in the bar before your meal.  It's reasonably pricey but I've eaten worse food at 2 Michelin Star restaurants and if you want celebrity endorsements it's Bill Bryson's favorite restaurant in Wales (see link 2).
