  1. Do a search around your local area.  Go the the DMV.  They can help with all those types of questions.  They help people get passports so why wouldn't they know about this, right?

    Good luck!

  2. no the paper work does not need to be in Spanish but you will have to have passports and you will need to have her birth papers contact the passport office they will tell you what you need i went last year with my girls i had to have my husbands death certificate and ids for the girls my birth certificate and theres just call the passport office they will tell you what you need

  3. You need to have a statement signed by you and your stepdaughter's mom and or dad. The document needs a statement giving you permission to take your stepdaughter  to Mexico. It needs to have the exact date you will be leaving the country, for how long, and when you will return.

You can find notary public at your post office or  UPS stores usually have notary publics. It doesn't need to be in spanish.

  4. The custodial parents must both sign for the child to get a passport and they must both sign a  permission letter and have it notarized.  It can be in English.  you should get 3 notarized copies and keep them in separate places when you travel.  You may ir may not be asked for the letter when you travel...but better have it.  See websites below.
