I am taking up a new assignment in Bahrain. I have been offered 942 BD(no accomodation & car facility) . ?

I have 2 children. Presently one of them is school going. What would be my monthly expense assuming a normal living style.

The housing would be very expensive as 2 BR houses here are now from BD 300-400 and most of them come furnished. The school costs depends on the school you put assuming you are Indian the school costs around BD 50-100/month.

Initially you would have to manage some transport like private taxis as it takes lot of time to get a license here as there are very limited trainers. The car costs are less and you get a good cars for around BD 4-5k or second hand cars from BD 1.5-3k.

The other costs like groceries etc would be around BD 100-200 depending on your lifestyle.

The pay is not all that high at the same time if you live within your means you can save some money
