I am the moderator for my own group. Evey time I try to post a photo in a message, it fails to display. HELP!! I'm not sure, if I have a setting to change.

Every time I copy & paste a photo or banner into a message I post to my own group as well as others, it fails to display. I also can't seem to figure out how to post a code so my banner will appear in the message.

Please Help!!

  1. pictures can be mailed to groups- I do it all the time. if they end up being too large, they are returned to you.

does it show up in the e-mail but just not the group? or doesn't show up in either? one reason may be attachments are not allowed, the text will be there but not any type of attachment or embedded item. also, not much of it will ever store to the group. *none of my banners I use show up on the homepage (you see an empty space), but do in the e-mailed post. also, mail providers have settings that also will strip such things, as well as e-mail providers all have different things they allow or don't allow, like html codes

Can I use HTML tags or CSS properties in my Yahoo! Groups messages?

    attachment settings

management- under group setting click messages- Posting and Archives (Edit) <-- click the edit- 4th column Attachments, check Distribute - click save changes

  2. Banners are not allowed and pictures must be uploaded as jpegs either on the front of the web page or in the photo section in albums.
