  1. you should watch that movie with gwen paltrow and christina applegate where they become stewardess.

  2. Most airlines arent hiring, and havent benn for a few years. They are laying off the most junior employees, unless you find an airline wiling to, itll be hard to. at AA, all crew members have worked at least 20 yrs.

  3. Well about the training, it’s different from an airline to another. Some airlines train for 4 weeks, some for 4 months. But mainly the training is about etiquette, aviation health and first aid, safety and emergency procedures onboard, service flow, how to calculate your working hours and many more.

Paying is quite good, my airline gives me a very good salary plus a free uniform, free accommodation and free transportation facilities.

Your working hours will be explained in your training as this depends on your fully attention to the details. You have to be prepared for flying for 6 hours today and after 3 days you will fly for 14 hours as an example.

And about the picking your base, some airlines do. I think EgyptAir and Jet airways in India do that.

For your studying you can still continue as long as it is not interfering with your working hours. Like you cannot call sick because you want to do your exams. Otherwise you have a very flexible schedule. You can have a flight in a week and the rest are days off. Also you can request certain days off you need in the next month.

Also you can have your degree online. It’s much better and easier for a flight attendant.
