I am thinking about changing my phone service, can someone tell me about Vonage?

Hello folks, I am with looking at my telephone bill and I am really getting tired of a certain company's high prices. Basically, money is getting way funny.

So I am, Iooking at other phone carriers. I have heard a lot about internet based phones. If anyone has it, please tell me about Vonage and any other internet based phone service. I'm in Carolina so that will give all that answers a location. Thank all that answers in advance.

Vonage is good but Time Warner Calbe offers a better price and better/more features. I would compare the prices for you right here but you didn't specify North or South Carolina and what part of it for example in North Carolina there's Charlotte, Eastern Carolina, Greensboro, Raleigh. So yeah pretty much I'll give you the address so yuo can see for yourself. I recommend Time Warner Cable better.

did you hear about the case where Vonage actually didn't include emergancy*911* in their basic phone plan and someone actually died because they weren't able to call for help? YIKES! but read the fine print.

i've used at&t and cox cable. cox cable seems to be the best for phone and internet usage... at least for my area...
