  1. Best time to go is when school is in session.   Go in April or May - or October or November.  Royal Caribbean is good, very few kids on board.  I also hate screaming little brats, and have been on 10 cruises.  I've never really had a problem going at those times.  I've even been on the Disney Cruise and they have "adult" only pools, rooms, and even an adult only beach on their private island.

  2. Cruises are like prisons. no freedom to move around. you are stuck in one place. but if you like being superficially entertained , then maybe you will like it

  3. Here's some info.

  4. Whatever you do DON'T GO WITH DISNEY!  I went on a Royal Carribean cruise, and had no problems with kids running around.  Actually I hardly saw any.  And it was a great cruise!  Beautiful ship, great food, nice destinations.

  5. Yes there are, and there are also singles' cruises.

  6. We went on Spring Break. We didnt want the kids being loud but the cruise line does a good job with the kid counselors to keep them entertained, and there are times where notice the kids, like in the pool, but its not that big of a deal. If the kids are participating in the clubs that they have they are usually socializing with friends they meet, and hanging out. Spring Break had on 100 kids on board, actually it was really close to 200 I believe, and the kids were really quiet for the most part.

Now for your second question, no, I dont know of any adult only cruise lines. There is however Celebrity Journey, Quest, and Xpedition, and they have about 700 passengers, and all the rooms are sweets, with private verandas, and butlers. There would be very few kids on those ships, and if they are on the ships, I bet they would have to be very well behaved for their parents to even take them, so I wouldn't worry. They go to some of the exotic destinations, like the Galapagos Islands. So I wish you good luck. Have fun.

    Hopes this helps!

  8. well the cruise that i went on wasn't very wild i mean there were alot of teens but no little little kids plus most parents don't think its safe enough for there kids to run around on them so they go to a little learning center trust me I've heard and been on some that don't have them running around its too unsafe so just try it and the girl who said she went on a royal Caribbean and had no problem is true that's the one i went on its fun but not filled w/ barley any kids

  9. There are some sailings that are adult only, but your best bet if you can afford it is to sail one of the luxury lines like:

    Crystal

    Cunard

    Oceania

    Regent Seven Seas Cruises

    Seabourn

    Silversea

If those are beyond your budget, definitely do not cruise during any school holiday. The longer the cruise - less children. The more exotic the location - less children. Repositioning cruises (non roundtrip) - less children. General rule of thumb - the more it costs, the less children you will see.

  10. Carnival is notorious for a family with kdis cruise so you would want to avoid them. Go on a cruise while school is in. Most people go when school is out

  11. You need to watch your language after all I am sure you were a miserable child !!!!!!!! I can hear it in your voice.

I am pleased to say there aren't any cruises you can take that you won't find people of all ages.

I certainly wouldn't want to be on a ship with someone like you!!!!

  12. Not sure about entire LINES, but most lines ahve adults-only or singles-only cruises.

  13. Look Expedia.com and there look for romantic vacations and I think that the romantic cruises are only for adults.

  14. Listen Lady why are just assuming that all children are just loud running brats? They are not and i bet you were the biggest brat in your family plus i hope you don't ever have kids who knows how you are going to treat that poor baby. Listen I'm almost a teen but that is just rude mean age-discrimination. They are adults only but i would love to see you go on a 12 day cruise just with quite kids and i hope you will take that back! So you got SERVED!

  15. If you go in September, there are significantly less children.  Last year we were on the Carnival Inspiration the last week of September, and out of ov 2400 guests on board, less than 100 of them were children, so you hardly ever saw them.

Just pick a time when they are in school.

  16. If you are willing to spend some money, there are several luxurious cruise lines where I can bet there won't be many kids simply due to the costs.  Cunard and Crystal cruises come to mind.  I would specifically talk to a travel agent about this - and I agree wholeheartedly with you.  There's nothing worse then kids being around.
