  1. I would go by air from North America to South America. There are many low cost airlines or majors that would offer very low fares if you shop around. Travelling overland through Central America and parts of South America would be a nightmare I would think. I've not been to South America, but you should definitely include Machu Pichu in Peru, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, perhaps Manaus on the Amazon and Iguasu Falls on the Brazil/Argentine border.

  2. probably going by train isnt it? look out the window at all the sites as you travel...miss traffic jams and clouds from flying in a plane....get cheap rate travel and if your lucky some hot breakfast.ok

  3. your options are limited a seasonal train pass sounds the best way i wouldnt want to hitch hike

  4. Places to see.

1.Canada:Ottowa, Montreal, Lake Louise in Alberta

    2.America:NYC,Washington D.C., San Fransisco

3.Carribean:British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Cayman Islands if you can afford it

4.South America:Not much right now, only went once to Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, VERY cool

Plane travel is expensive, so take the train, greyhound, or boat whenever possible

  5. Ride a bicycle. =)
