  1. I would recommend the SuperSix or Six 13. To be honest, I think that the Synapse is kind of average as far as carbon bikes go. I really like Cannondales: I've owned 5 C'dale road bikes and 4 C'dale mtbs. The Synapse is made in Taiwan and is made by the largest manufacturer of carbon frames: i.e. the same as many out there. I would get a Cervelo, or a Specialized if I was looking for a carbon frame. But, the SuperSix and Six 13's are better bikes.

  2. The first answer is good.  If it were me I think you need to ask yourself what you want to spend.  The Super / System Six do give you a little more road credit but only the most technical riders would be able to tell the difference.  I think you should look at the components and let that weigh in your decision.  I would take a Synapse with full Ultegra over a Super with 105 any day of the week.  Both frames are good I have a Six13 half Ultegra half 105 I am more a recreational rider.
