I would like to know if the gas mileage is over 20 mpg. What do you think of the interior? - also seat comfort. I need decent head room as I am tall. I will go for a test drive based on answers received.

  1. They are supposd to be good. Only you can decide if you like the dashboard...that's what you really look at. I have a V8 Mercury and it gets 32 mpg on the highway so 20 mpg is not good. I am tall too and I can't "fit" most "little" cars!

There are vans with the goodies for a lot less.

Check April edition of Consumers' Reports.

Good luck. When I buy, I sit in it quietly to get the car into my "soul". If it feels right, I buy otherwise I'm off. And...no sales personnel to influence me and babble away incessantly at me....and offer 12% less than they want when you decide!!!

  2. I am considering buying the same car....here is some info that i found good...good luck!  http://autos.yahoo.com/newcars/model/ove...

  3. My daughter has a Honda CRV and it is a great vehicle.  It has ample power, is roomy, and rides great.  She gets over 20 mpg in the city.

  4. A couple of my relatives have a couple of old CR-V's which have really high quality for a small SUV. They are roomy in the back and I assume the third generation should be overall roomy too. Gas mileage according to the website is 20/27 for 4x2 and 20/26 for 4x4. I never driven any CR-V yet but it appears to ride like a regular family car.
