I am thinking of buying the Microsoft Lifecam VX-1000, Is it good for live streaming?

I am thinking of buying the Microsoft Lifecam VX-1000. I don't want it for video chat or IM, I just want it to stream live on www.ustream.tv, and record videos from time to time. Is this camera good for that? And if not could you give me suggestions on other webcams. Here is the camera http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8130846

Could you give me suggestions maybe 30 dollars to 40 dollars jigher than this, and give me links to them. Thanx in advance
