I am thinking of getting a male feeder mouse to breed with my female fancy mice?

first of all will it work and my fancy mice are grey and whit and the other is mostly black

  1. if you get a feeder male mouse, the babies will get some of their traits from him.

    feeder mice are inbred and some have genetic defects which can be passed on to baby mice.

    also, when people breed feeder mice, they dont care about the mice, they care about the money so the environment the mice are living in is quite horrible. they dont get handled or tamed either.

    it is better to get another fancy and tame him. then when he has become gentle and has a good nature, you can breed him to your female. the baby mice will now have good traits coming from both parents and may also have good personalities like the father.


  2. Don't get a FEEDER mouse, try to find a PET mouse. (wait, just save yourself the trouble and get another fancy mouse)
