I am thinking of relocating back to Vancouver BC after 14 years. What is the best area for children? ?

Live near where you work. Never cross a bridge to get to work if you can avoid it.

Otherwise, except for the east side of Vancouver north of 1st, everyplace is good for kids.

And even Surrey has good schools.

Kitsilano is generally a great place for kids. A lot of smart, creative people live there and so do their kids. I always thought if I have kids I'd like them to grow up there. It's a happy, warm, loving neighborhood where everybody knows each other. I'm not sure about statistics but it seems to be a pretty safe area.

Just to warn you Vancouver has one of the highest housing costs in Canada and North America.

We live in the metrotown area  Clean & good schools
