if you'll be willing to ship internationally, the sky is the limit. However, if you're looking to sell very common items, you will have much competition.

I sell a lot of vintage/ rare items. I will ship overseas but there's a few country's I will not ship to (ex. N. Korea, Africa).

As a new seller, I recommend reading through some of these posts in the link below, and use this board to ask future questions. You will gain a lot of tips/ hints and info from reading through these.

I occasionally sells and buys in eBay Australia.

Why I buy from eBay Australia:

1. Cheaper than retail

2. Unique items (eg collectibles, sold outs)

3. Save the petrol by not going to the mall (due to the rise in petrol prices!)

Why I sell in eBay Australia:

1. One man's poison is another man's meat (what could be a junk to me, is precious to someone out there)

2. I can offer cheaper than retail

3. Cheapest way to advertise and sell.

eBay have taught me to recycle my junk and make money out of it.

eBay has several tools to show you what is selling right now.   For example eBay trends.  Look under the "Help" tab on eBay and look for tools for sellers.
