I am thinking of working in a hospice as a social worker.?

Does anyone have experience in hospice? Is it really depressing?

It depends on your point of few. It can be both depressing and rewarding. If you see moving on into another form ( death) as a good thing then you will see yourself as being of service when you help people pass and help them to see this as a positive transition and help them to not be afraid.

It will be rewarding, because you will help the family at  this time, when it is needed the most.
