The party will be at night and everyone will be parking away from our house. I plan on having a cake and some food but was trying to think of other things that I could do. I am kind of broke right now, so I don't have alot of money to do anything expensive. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks!!!!!!

  1. toga parties are the best.

my friend had a suprise one for her mom's 50th and it was a hit.

anyone can make a toga with an old sheet.

  2. Make it BYO nibble and drinks, no presents, that way people are happy to provide quality beverages as they don't have the expense of buying a Gift. And you get a great party for very little cost!!!

  3. You could get a baby picture of him or a funny one you have and get it blown up to a poster size, put it on the inside of the door and people can sign it as if they would a year book.  It would be something he could have to remember that day forever.

For my dad's 40th I got pictures from when he was a baby to current day and printed them out to 8x11 photo paper and put them all around the main room we were in, it's fun to see how he's changed and memories will come back as well for him, maybe someone can say a little something about him.

You could create a trivia questionarre about it, and have a point in the party where people have to fill it out and the person that gets the highest score can win something- something simple and fun that I've done is a Movie Night Basket.  You can get plastic popcorn tubs at WalMart or the Dollar Store, get some big boxes of candy like Junior Mints, Goobers, Licorice stuff you would get at the movies, some popcorn, 20 oz bottles of soda and a 10 dollar card to a video rental store, it's something simple and fun!
