I found out some of my neighbors collect checks every month from the social security and one guy is younger than me. I am wondering how can I get this situation. I am really tired of working and my pay is less than his, but he doesn't have to work. I only have a high school education and cannot afford a higher education. And I am really stupid and dumb. What do I need else to qualify.

  1. Usually "stupid and dumb" isn't rewarded.

  2. The government won't just give you money to live on, but you can afford higher education because the government will give/loan you money to go get it.  It's an investment for them, not a handout, because if you get a bigger paycheck then you'll pay more taxes...

Apply at www.fafsa.ed.gov and see what you qualify for.

  3. Do like I did - I get one of those government checks every month and have since I was 38.

What you do is go join the military.  Then survive for 20 years while serving all around the world.  If you manage to stay in 20 years without getting killed then you can collect a retirement check for the rest of your life.
