  1. grab it from the back let it use your pinky as a perch and the head between your middle and index finger in a firm but not to tight grip if you really want to hold it so badly this works because it cant turn to bite you because you have its head

  2. they dont bite they peck try hand feeding it then slowly stoke it over time that is and eventually ur be able to hold it i c ur point it would hurt and if it escapes well ..............

  3. Well, I'm guessing he might be just as scared as you are.  This is something you'll have to get over youself.  Just make sure you don't try to put on a glove as i know my lovebird freaks out when someone does that and tries to pick him up.

Heres a tip for starting out:  Don't try to pick him up right away.  Let him climb out of his cage and then slowly rub his back.  If he doesnt bite you, go ahead and pick him up.  Also, don't forget that theres a difference between nibbling and biting

  4. try smuggling it

  5. You will just have to get used to it, as a bird owner it is inevitable that yoe will get a few bites.  However, a budgies bite may pinch but it doesnt really hurt.  They are little.  Imagine an african grey or macaw!

  6. put your habd in the cage and form a c with your thumb and 4 fingers, put this round the budgie and if he bites you just let him go, keep doing this and h**l get used to it

  7. Dont worry just put a glove on then put some seed or fruit on ur hand until he gets on to eat dont worry even if he  does peck u it wont hurt. im getting a love bird tommorow (well 2) im a bit nervous too.
