Okay a bit of a long story...

So on friday night a man phoned my house when i was away with my nana [pauline] at the cinema. My mom answered the phone.

The man asked for my nana [pauline], and my mom said that she wasn't there. And then he told my mom that he knew where we lived, and he told her the exact address and postcode.

This man is stating that he is Jack Sparrow ¬¬

He keeps on calling, it sounds like he's calling from a computer if that helps?

He knows all of our names, where we live, what we look like...it's really freaking me out.

I have called the police, they did absolutely NOTHING.

I know it sounds hard to believe, but's this is no lie

What should i do?

  1. thats why i hate the police

they seem to do nothing for you

but always get in trouble by them

  2. Well first you should ask yourself if anyone you or your family knows would have the motive to do this, if so give the police their name.

If you don't wait for them to phone again and record the conversation and give it to the police and demand that they take you seriously, you pay taxes and you could be in danger so force them to care.

Or if you know a computer geek ask him/her to help track "Jack Sparrow"

  3. uhm sleep with one eye open..

and a gun or sharp object.

  4. Have the phone company trace the calls. If that doesn't work, get the police to do it. They can trace it to the exact location. You and your family might want to think about going to a hotel. If you think he's not joking than you need to get out.

The police are supposed to help you. Keep calling until they help you in some way.

  5. change your phone number thats pretty much the only way to stop him. Keep calling the police until they do something about it. What ever you do donnot agnor the phone calls that will p**s him and and could do something bad.

  6. call the phone company and have a tap put on the phone. this device will detect where the phone call is coming from . once you fond out the source then call the police . in the mean time just watch your surroundings . some people are sick in this world .

  7. police never do anything in england get caller id and don't answer when he rings ring bt or who every your with and tell them weired

  8. For starters. WHOA! creepy. Anyways, theres many things you could do. Theres a website that i cant actually tell you the exact site but its like a site that you type in the phone number and it tells you exactly where the number is coming from. Its like reverse 411 or something. Try it in google. Anyways from there you can call the phone company and get them to find out who is calling. They can also put a block on that number so they can not call you anymore. I hate when police do nothing about something that is at great importance. wouldnt be the first time. Just becareful. Some people are out there just to try and scare you. I would suggest, streghtening all passwords, and locks on anything and everything you own, credit cards, memberships. etc.

  9. Ugh I know what you're talking about the whole police situation. Arent they suppose to serve and protect the citizens? ugh they're not doing their job correctly. Ok now about the whole freaky man situation. Call your phone company and have them tap the mans number who called you and that way, they can id him and his address and where he lives. This could be some sick joke, but take it seriously because he's obviously a creep. And since he was asking for your nana, its obviously he knows her so he could be a close friend of hers or enemy. tell your nana.

good luck and you might want to change your phone number and get a sercuity alarm system in yoru house just in case. tell your mom. good luck

  10. OK THIS IS WHAT I DO TO FIND OUT ALOT ABOUT THIS MAN GO TO www.411.com...

this website will ask you for every type of information you have about him... so when he called you get his caller ID.

    and type it in!

it will give you his exact location address and everything!

    it should work!

    GOOD LUCK!

  11. police really do annoy me when they do nothing.. that isn't what they are paid for, you should try to think about this who person is, you think it is a man because you said 'he's calling from a computer', do not rule out anybody from what i can tell it is somebody close to you, perhaps it is a practical joke, but don't keep that in mind incase it isn't a joke. If you cannot find out who this person is, be very cautious when you go out.

  12. hmmm?? well the police out here in california and the arizona area arent as good as they should be either... call your phone company and they will tap into your phone and what not then you will be set to do whatever find out who the guy is and hopefully for further investigation the police will get invovled.

the same exact thing happend to me on my cell phone and i got the info from my phone company and i went to show the police my evidence....

hopefully i have helped you    out a little bit im just saying all this for you and your families safty and of cource previous expericene...

    Good Luck!!

  13. There is actually a website you can go to where you can have a computer call a number and read a message.  So this could be a friend of the family playing a practical joke gone wrong.  I had that happen to me and it scared the living c**p out of me.

Star 69 the number to see if it is an actual number.  Since you are probably a minor, the police brushed you off since they probably get dozens of complaints that turn out to be minors playing jokes on each other.  Have your mom and nana file a harrasment report.

  14. eeek. have a tap put on the phone so when he calls they can trace it back and have all the phone conversations.

  15. If I were you I would get my parents to call the police (adults can be more persuading) and demand they do something! CREEEEEPY!
