  1. No offense, but if you need to come here to get advice on training a fighter, you're not ready to be trainer.  Try to find a trainer with some experience and work with him and learn.  Both you and your guy eill be better off for it.

  2. first of all he should get a new trainer.  A trainer that dosen't have to ask these questions.   I bet you get his *** knocked out       TKO round 1

  3. I though you were the coach, I hope he's not paying you. NAyways Get these ,manuals (all three) if you are trying to train any fighters. Apply principles, if you don't have any standard weights or can't get any than Just get Full Throttle Conditioning and Never Gymless....actually, get Infinite Intensity anyways. It should arrive about a week and a half after you send the money order if you do it by mail. Go here:http://rosstraining.com/

  4. should you be training anyone if you are asking how to train anyone?

  5. If you dont know what to do then why are you traing him????????

  6. wow, if you are the trainer and you are asking this on yahoo question you need to be strait up with your fighter that you don't know what you are doing and that he needs to find someone that does so he doesn't go into the ring and get hurt. Training someone without any knowledge of what to do as you are is wrong. You are helping to set this individual up to get hurt that way.

  7. Man their are so many different things that need to be done to get a get guy ready for a fight. So please don't take this as a insult, but if you have to ask us you really shouldn't be training this man. He could really get hurt if not trained right is fighting somebody who knows what their doing, he could be hurt permanently. I know from personal experience. One year during a golden gloves tournament I was in one of the light heavyweights tried to train himself at home and ended up getting knocked out and had to be taken out on a stretcher. He talks real slow now, no exaggeration. And this was amateur as well. my advice, go to a local boxing gym and have start there.

  8. alot of cardio, 30 minute to an hour jog depends on what kind of shape your boxers in.

  9. if your training him you should really know this
