  1. Go to thrift shops and buy T-shirts with 'local' US prints and logos on.  Anything unusual but very clearly 'made in America' - a good example might be a shirt advertising a local blood donor drive or something.  Or a bar which has just opened.  Stuff like that can be good stock for retro or fashion shops, as there are tourists from all around the world in London who like to dress in all sorts of 'international' kit.  At the very least, you should be able to swap it for stuff you could sell back home, and it won't cost you much to get.

  2. You might have problems at customs declaring the purpose and of bringing goods in and explained what you are planning to do with it it Great Britain. Futhermore you might be caught in trying to make any illegal deals, cause the British Bobbies are much smarter than the US cops.

  3. and where are you going to sell it? ... nice idea but would be hard to find anything on a small scale ... when you get here go and have a look at Camden Market, there's stalls selling things from just about every country in the world

  4. You can SELL toothpaste.  The Brits have the worst oral hygiene.
