I am traveling to Mexico, puerto vallarta from monday to thursday how much USD money should i bring?

I usually carry a visa debit card and withdraw money as I need it.The debit card machines and banks will give you the best exchange rates.

It would be very difficult to say how much money you should budget for a four day trip.Everyones needs are different.Your hotel choice and how hard you choose to party will be your two largest costs,food and transportation are usually inexpensive....Buen viaje!

No need to worry.  People in P.V. are very accustomed to tourists.  The airport is very close and there are A.T.M. everywhere including the airport.  

For a short stay like yours you may find ways to spend $100 a day. There are Casa de Cabio" (Exchange house) everywhere.

For lengthy stays one should bring---Travelers checks--cash and a bank card.  

With your bank card you get your banks rate plus a fee for the Cajero--A.T.M.

you should bring 100 bucks with you in 10 dollar bills, plus 400 dollars or more in travelers checks for the places where they take them. I say 100 bucks because you want to have money right away for taxis (cabs) and for the people that just want to sell you stuff, beers and tacos. Have a nice stay, I am from Mexico and that is a nice place to visit. Just try not to act to "touristy" so that people don't take advantage of you.
