  1. Yes, more than likely your computer is set up to take either 110 or 220 volts.  I believe you will need to have a plug converter, though.

  2. Yes it is safe to plug your laptop in I do in other parts of the world

  3. Many times there is a little black box attatched to the electric cord. If you have that on your computer that should act as a converter. You should contact the computer's manufacturer though to make sure you won't do damage to your computer.

  4. Of course it will, although i do suggest buying a Surge Protector because the power goes out frequently throughout the week. Other than that, have fun! An don't forget to take some roskias with you when you come back to the states.

  5. One thing you need to be careful of is the power wattage. When I went to Saudi Arabia, many of my devices were destroyed or did not work because of the watt difference.

  6. I am from Nicaragua. It is great to see someone going down there. YES! it is safe to plug your laptop. I bought many laptops and electronics from here in the US and carried them over there, it is the same system and plugs. It is totally safe. Have a great trip. You will love it. you can contact me if you need to know anything else from over there before you go.

  7. It is safe as long as you use a three-holed outlet and don't use an adaptor to fit into a two-holed. If you do, your laptop may suffer and overcharge due to fluctuating energy charges or bumps in energy levels after an outage.
