  2. the rain forest and the Barcardi factory

  3. Just go to San Juan and Isla Verde's discos you will love it and the womans there to. You will be no more a virgin!

  4. Dead Dog Beach.  100's of dogs are abandoned there every year by careless people.  They need care and homes.  Help out a local animal rescue group.

  5. u dont need to go no where man

since u r there for any two days and coming in on a good time

there are going to be plenty of parties out around that time

    stay in isla verde

trust me   u wont be no virgin

  6. Rincon is a beautiful located at the west side of the island. There are many tourist there. You can rent a room and car for cheap. Give Angelo's car rental a call 787-823-3438.

  7. Since you are a male and love nature, then the Yunque Rain forest is great.  You can drive throught it or pack a nice pack pack and walk the whole thing. In car it takes just about an hour. On foot, it is 3 hours.  You can take your car up to the end, park it and walk the paths made for hiking.

You can also go to the Botanical Gardens of the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras or the Botanical Gardens in Caguas.

You can also drive on rout 2 from Caparra in Guaynabo to Mayaguez. This is the old rout still in use two lanes going and comming with nice stops along the way and as you pass Bayamon and Toa Baja you come to Dorado and Arecibo and from the road you can see out on the ocean. It is a spectacular view and there are along the way a few places where you can stop and look out.  I love the view when the Flamboyan Trees are in full bloom.

You can take a trip to the small towns in the center of the Island.  I suggest Cidra, Cayey, Comerio, Aguas Buenas, Naranjito. These towns are still small, have many local shops, stores and eateries. The people are very friendly and courtesy is the word and action every day.  These towns are so beautiful and interesting because along the way on the old road from  Cayey to Caguas there are Casas Camineros or Road workers homes. Before when the roads were just dirt roads, every 5 more or less there were homes of 2 or 4 rooms where the care takers of the roads lived with their families lived.  They would take care of the roads by plugging up holes and taking off debree. They still stand today and when I go by on I take an imaginary trip to the past.

To do all this you will have to rent a car.

Check with my good friends over at Lanes Truck and Car rental at 787-2606161 or 787-268-6262.  You call to reserve and where ever you are they will pick you up.

Or using Puerto Rico WOW web site or just entering Car Rentals in Puerto Rico there will be lists of renters. If  you rent, avoid Hertz they are expensive, Target car rental will ask you for $500 hold on your card, and a few others will ask for your credit card to have a base of upt to $500.

There are tolls for the highway, but to go to El Yunque you do not have to pay tolls because it is free.  To go to the other towns the exits are past Caguas North Toll station and there you do not have to pay tolls because it is payable on return.

Have a nice stay and enjoy your country trip.

By the way if you want to each typical food from here and buy souveniers, just off the old road from Caguas to Cayey is Guavate. From the start of the road up to the top (which winds through the mountains and has precious scenery) you  have typical restaurants, shops and stop offs where you can eat typical food, (all delicious), buy souveniers and take in the beautiful view of the mountains and see for miles out. I know I go there often and it is the most wonderful place.

  8. PR has a lot of great natural wonders. Too bad you only have 2 days. You can still fit in a few things though. You should definitely rent a car & go to El Yunque Rain Forest (you can take bus tours too). Its 45 minutes east of San Juan. El Yunque is free but if you stop at the visitor center (reccomended) you will pay a few dollars to see a movie & learn about it, plus there is a gift shop. Anyway you can walk the trails & swim in waterfalls like La Mina. Or if you adventourous you can hike less known trails too.  When your done you can check out Luquillo or sevenstars beach if you have time. At night you can go to the bioluminescent bay. There is one close by the rain forest. Its in Fajardo, called Las Croabas Lagoon. You take a kayak through the mangroves & then see the glowing bay. Amazing.  Also Camuy Caves are awesome too, they are on the north side of the island. There is Guanica dry forest (w/ cactus) in the south near Ponce. The central part of the island has great mountain views. There are alot of other less popular forests too like Carite forest & more. You just have to decide where to go. Jajome is nice & there are cool wildlife reserves too. Also spend atleast a few hours in Old San Juan & check out el Morro Fort.  EnjoY!!
