I am travelling alone to prague in july for 2 weeks this is my first holiday?

Two weeks seems kind of long. I know you said you were traveling alone, but unless your meeting up with someone who lives in Prague (someone you can party with), I wouldn't stay more than a week. Czech Republic isn't like France, Germany etc. where it takes you a month to see everything. Take the other week and go somewhere adventurous where you can hike, bike, raft. Maybe go to the seaside in Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Turkey? Or some bordering country near Prague.

I have family that lives in Europe. I stay with them for whole month. If I was just a tourist though, eh...maybe just a few days.

Don't kid me, Prague is fantastic. I just don't like the alone part. But then again, I know people who travel by themselves.

Yes, go to www.hostels.com to get all the information on places to stay with inexpensive prices.

When you get there you can get some excellent traveling advice from other travelers as well as staff,on places to see and go.
