Keep in mind when you are there, the railway signs and other places the names of the city are mentioned, that they are not always written in the "English" version of the name.  For example Geneva can be written  Genf  there.  The country is multi-lingual, with a dialect of German language being the main one, but there is also French and Italian language there too.
