I am travelling to Paris, France this fall. What French perfumes would you recommend?

Definitely Guerlain ... Its the oldest existing brand of French perfumes and cosmetics. Their perfumes are beautiful and there's something for everyone Eg. L'insolence for young women, Shalimar and Samsara are 2 classics, L'instant is a fresh summer perfume etc ... Then there are also Dior and Chanel which have beautiful perfumes.

I also suggest that you buy the perfume directly not from a perfumery eg buy from galleries lafayette or primtemps as they do free makeovers and give a lot of free samples.

Enjoy shopping in Paris ! I miss it everyday !!!

just a forewarning that these perfumes will be cheaper in the US...maybe duty free. check on that
