  1. Probably not.  Unless you are staying for a long time, probably best to phone them up and ask.

  2. You will only need the tourist card that you get on the palne and there whould be no problem.  see website below and read through the 10th entry...this line of conversation covers your question.

  3. I have had a quick look for you on the Mexican Embassy website and can find nothing regarding restrictions for persons with convictions. However, I would imagine that there would be but just to make sure I advise you to contact the Mexican Embassy in London directly. I have provided the number for you below.

    (020) 7235 6393 or  (020) 7499 85 86

If there are no restrictions regarding your conviction then providing you are a British National with a United Kingdom passport and you are staying for less than 180 days then you are exempt of having a visa to travel to Mexico.

You will however be issued with a blue card on your connecting flight from Amsterdam to Mexico by the airline you are flying with.

  4. not as long as you are not going for any longer than 6 months. Which part of mexico are you going to? i am in Monterrey, in the north, let me know if you need any more advise about coming here

  5. Not sure about a Visa as those are used for extended stays (school, work, sick family member, ect), but you will need a Passport to gain access to Mexico.

  6. Contact an attorney in Ireland and discuss this before you contact anyone else.  Depending on the country involved, admittance of a criminal conviction regardless of how minor or how long ago could greatly complicate your ability to travel there.  In some cases you could be deemed inadmissible.

For instance if you were travelling to America you would need to wait approximately a year for your visa to be processed before you could visit.
