  1. Air India allows the following baggage allowances

    First Class               40 Kilos

    Executive Class       30 Kilos

    Economy Class        20 Kilos

The maximum weight permissible for a single piece of baggage is 32 kgs. This rule is applicable on the entire Air India network.

The sum of the 3 dimensions (length + breadth + height) must not exceed 62 inches or 158 centimeters for each piece.

  2. Well in Australia, you can carry 20kg a person, everything over 20kg you have to pay for , something like $20 a kg.

BUT You cant carry anything that weights more than 32 kg.
