I am trying to locate either a obit for or the cemetery my hubands grandmother is burried in, Or any other information besides the Social security Death Index. My father-in-law is a jerk and wont tell us anything and swears that she and her 2nd husband (We assume she was married to my father in laws, father) were burried in Arlington National Cemetery VA, But I have looked and neither or their names appear in ANY national cemetery. So I am lost. Any help would be appriciated

Here is all the information that I have for her,

Name: Loretta Evdokimoff (Maiden name: Moore) (Last name of her 1st husband may have been Williams (That is the last name that she gave my Father-In-Law) Goldberg or Ginsberg

Birthdate: 21 May 1916

Death: Sep 1983

Last residence: Niantic, New London, CT 06357

SSN issued: NY

Husband at the time of her death was

John Evdokimoff

B. 9 Dec 1919

D. 9 Sep 1993

Last residence: Niantic, New London, CT 06357

SSN issued: CA

  2. I believe John here is the same John shown with his parents John and Hazel, living in Compton, Calif in the 1930 census. You can see it is a rare name, and his parents came from Russia.

the above obit leads me to think that the woman here is related to John.. and probably the other ssdi entries which show deaths in CA.

With the name being as rare as it is.. I truly think it would benefit you to call people, looking for his relatives.  They may have the info you want.

Beyond that.. the alternative is to get Loretta's death certificate, which will show where she is buried (and names of her parents, one hopes).
