    - Practice a lot before you tryout

    - Have all the basics COMPLETELY mastered

    - Dress like a volleyball player (swipe socks, knee pads, spandex, tee-shirt from former camp or team or another type of volleyball shirt tee-shirt or not, hair up, serious volleyball tennis shoes, etc.)

    - Have a good attitude, stay positive

Hope those are some good tips if i think of anymore i will add them in an edit

  2. 1. Say "mine" when going for  the ball.

    2. Dive

    3. Never give up

    4. Stay focus

    5. Don't get down on yourself

    6.Play hard

    7. Be yourself ( i know it soundsweird for a sport but just do it)

    good luck!

  3. Call your hits and digs.  Stay focused.  Put all your serves in.

  4. jeez 250.

call the ball. be loud when you're doing this and when you call it, go for it! even if you mess up, it shows you're willing to commit to it. calling the ball shows you have confidence in yourself and your skill.

have a good attitude and follow whatever the coaches tell you to do. be a team player especially. no one likes a selfish player. it wouldn't hurt to cheer for the other people too, especially if they have a nice hit, serve, pass, etc. don't give up and try your hardest. coaches want people who are willing to work hard no matter what, have a good positive attitude and who are team players.

work on the fundamentals especially before tryouts like bumping, setting, serving and hitting. try to get it down as much as you can.

    but most importantly,

    have lots of fun! :]

put a smile on and laugh. coaches like to see people who are having fun playing this sport.

  5. First, go into the tryouts with a positive attitude and only think about yourself. Don't worry about anybody else except yourself. Think that your the best and everything.

Then, work on the basics. Passing, bumping, setting, spiking, and serving.

Now, you always need to call the ball. This is what coaches notice, that you can take charge no matter what. Be agressive, which also shows that you wont back down. Show that you can also work well with others. If someone does better than you, don't get mad because if both of you make the team then you'll have a good team.

I hope I help. Just remember: your the best and show it.

  6. here's a note diving doesn't always help. yeah it shows that your aggressive, but if you can do the footwork and get there in time go with that.  Save diving for when its absolutely necessary.

1.Be loud, aggressive, cheer on other players.

2.Call the ball, call out your hitters, call to your setter for a hit (unless fo course you are a setter).

3.If your in a scrimmage pay attention tell other your teammates where the open spots are (hole, cross, line) , call where the opposing team is hitting ("outside hit", "middle Hit", etc)

    4. Call out the direction of the ball.  Let your team know if its deep, free, cross, a tip, in or out.  There should never be a silent moment on the court.  Coaches really look for leaders on the court.  They want to see who's going to step it up even at the final points of the game.

    5.  try your hardest do everything to the fullest of your ability, slacking really isn't an option when there's that many girls.

    6. Focus on the fundamentals. Make sure you have the proper footwork and plank.

    7. Be consistent. Sure its great if you can pull off an awesome serve, pass or kill, but if you can't do it consistently it means nothing.

    Good luck!
