I am trying to call an 05601 number from a BT land line, but it won't connect - any reason?

please check the counry code you r dialing and try again or hang up and call you local operator...........truthfully   you may not have a long distance provider....or there is a block on the phone for long distant calling ..or....or  maybe you r dialing it in the wrong manner to get out   your local phone book can tell you how to do that also      good luck

Could be you have the wrong number. Try calling operator services to check out the number, they can help with conneciton problems
