I am trying to concieve?

My husband and i have been trying to concievefor about 5 months. This cycle we have tried every day. Normally, when he ejaculates in me, i lay on my back with my legs over a pillow to elevate my hips. Usually, i will feel some s***n flow out. I have not felt that the past days. I came across a similar question and someone suggested that its because he masturbates before..this is not the case.

Does the s***n always come out? Maybe he has a low sperm count? I don't know. He does not know why either. Has anyone else have this happen? If he does have a low sperm count, can i still get pregnant?

  1. I have heard that what leaks out after s*x is not high count of sperm at all. That the sperm is actually shot way into the v****a and that what is leaking out is left over ***.  I also heard it doesn't matter if you lay on your back or not, because what sperm is moving..is gonna move whether you lay or not. I hope and pray you conceive soon...just relax and try to hit every other day! Also I have been using FertilityFriend.com and charing my BBT....it really helps to pinpoint ovulation/luteal phase etc...also OPKs help so much to determine the LH surge before you ovulate. So good luck with everything...I hope this all helps. :)

  2. yea when me nmy man do it it leaks out in me 2. idk why n we also have had problems concieving. we both dont kno whats goin on

  3. Ok, first off, stress less!!

In one year of TTC, only 80% of couples actually get pregnant. You have a 25% chance of conceiving each month if everything is healthy and well timed.

Even if an egg is fertilised, sometimes they don't attach because they aren't viable babies.

Stressing so much will upset your body.

Inside your v****a, there is a little bit of a bulbous space just below the cervix. Sperm collects there, and can wait there for some time before going into the v****a. Even with back flow, you'll still have plenty of spermies swimming around up there.

I find that back flow is a little less if I climax just before, or at the same time, or just after my husband does. The contracting muscles in the v****a helps to suck the spermies up, and the cervix also 'flutters' when you climax.

Backflow is NOT an indication of a low sperm count. It just means that there was a bit that leaked out. Whatever leaks out, there will still be more inside, and that bit can contain millions of sperm. and it only takes one. Lying still and trying not to squeeze your v****a will help sperm stay in longer.

Don't freak out about TTC for 5 months and not being preg. yet. If after a year you're not pregnant, seek fertility assistance, but most doctors wont bother till you've tried for a year.

  4. It could be your husband, but that is usually not the case, unless he smokes, does marijuana, drinks excessively, does drugs...which I doubt since they are unhealthy for him, you and the potential baby. Also, if he keeps his s*****m too heated up, it can cause problems, so he should wear boxers..

It's crazy...here you are, trying your hardest to get pregnant..and then on Yahoo answers, you see 13 year olds posting  questions about how they became pregnant, whether they should or should not have the baby, and how they're so scared because their parents are going to find out and the kicker is...they weren't even trying to get pregnant in the first place!

It's almost a joke, really. Just as a little story, My husband and I tried to conceive for a while year. Last year around Thanksgiving time, it finally happened. I think it wasn't happening for a whole year because I was stressing so much over it. I kept thinking about the baby. I kept counting days, researching my ovulation charts, reading about all kinds of crazy methods to conceive a child. I had baby on the brain. Finally in November last year, I gave up. I had a move to think about. I had to pack things, clothes, furniture...had to get an apartment, start paying new bills with my husband, make a road trip to our new state..things were hectic and I forgot about baby-making, and somewhere around that time, it happened. I think when you are anticipating a child, your body isn't going to respond only because of how the stress hormones are high even though you don't know it. And this can even put your cycle off. It sucks, really. I have some really helpful sites for you though..you should check them out:
