I plan on going to Orlando, but we are not going to just ONE park, like Disney World. We are going to Disney World, Universal/Island of Adventure, Seaworld, & Busch Gardens. Would it benefit me any to stay at a partner hotel for one of the theme parks? Or would I actually save more money staying at a non-resort, non partner hotel?

  1. Its best to stay at a non resort hotel on International Drive because they offer free shuttle service to every park. I'm not sure if a disney hotel would take you to Universal Studios.

  2. My family likes to move around during our vacation.  Staying in the resorts there in the parks gives you a lot of extra advantages.  Moving around lets you enjoy the beauty and amenities of more than one resort.

  3. I would recommend spending a few nights at disney and the rest around international drive area, the partner hotels can work out very expensive. for example the crowne plaza at universal for 18 nights in sept was coming up last week at £918, where as the royal pacific universal studios was over £2000

  4. My choice in Orlando is:

    Renaissance-Orlando Resort-Seaworld

There are 24 resorts within minutes of the hotel, by the way.  The furthest (Lion King) was about 11 miles, I think that DisneyWorld was 9 miles away.  Anyway it is centered in the 24 resorts area.

  5. Ive done both stayed on and off property.  if you are only going to magic kingdom stay off the property.  If you plan on going to MGM Epcot Animal Kingdom its very beneficial to be on the property because you have free transportation to and from the hotel all day to the parks.  The All star hotels are cheapest All star music sports etc.  We took a shuttle to Universal it seemed at least an hour away.  Cant remember how much it cost either.  Happy travels
