I am trying to figure out a way to make my room sound proof.?

I dont mind the noise coming into my room. But i dont want any noise going out and disturbing others.

how sound proof do you want it for my studio its actually a room in a room an insulated wall with 6 inches air space and another insulated wall covered on the inside with auralex but thats not neccassary for most people air space is the easiest way to kill sound say for instance hanging blankets several inches from the walls

Try s******g/ gluing acoustic ceiling tiles to the walls or hanging heavy fabric on the walls for a dramatic curtained look.
