There are two lines on the bike itself, under the fuel tank. Which is the fuel line and what is the other line for?

  1. One is the "normal" and the other is "reserve." You can tell quickly which is which by blowing on the gas lines. Don't get the gas in your mouth, etc!

You can also find out by disconnecting the two fuel lines and twiddling the giant fuel selector dial on the tank. The line the gas comes out of when you switch to "res" is the reserve line, ya know...

The fuel then goes to a pump located down by the rear shock, whence it gets pumped to the carbs. Put a fuel filter upstream of the pump, and change it every now and then.

Google that.  Awesome site with a forum about your particular bike.
