I've never heard of a kit. We make our own molds. We use melamine or MDF and basic cheap lumber for framing and cleating. Most of our molds are used only once, so there is no need to go nuts on the construction. You simply build the exact opposite shape of the one you desire. Be prepared to do alot of shaping and putty work, it doesn't have to look nice it just needs to be the shape. In some cases you might have to demo the mold inside of the piece after it's fully glassed, make sure you make it so you can take it apart easily if you have to. Definitely make sure that you put mold release on the mold before glassing it.

there really is no kits to make a fiberglass mold that i know of. i make mine out of gelcoat then layers of 1 1/2 oz fiberglass with a polyester resin. then you can beef it up with layers of a 2415 fab mat or for a small mold you can glass wood or steel for rigidity.
