I am trying to find a nice park or public land in north georgia. ?

Could someone help me find a nice park or public land in north ga that is good for both hiking and trout fishing? any suggestions are welcome.

i hv never been in GA but see if you can search from below link. you can search parks which has facilities like Stream hiking, fishing, boating etc.

You must visit Vogel State Park, or Desoto Falls. They have wonderful waterfalls in the area. We go there often. Both are on blood mountain. Of hwy 19!!!

All I can tell you is the Blue Ridge mountains, and the Chatahoochie area should be nice.  Waterfalls, woods, etc.

ive been all over north georgia nad to me personally you wont find a nicer park than unicoi state park. it has everything you were wanting and more. it is just outside of helen ga and well worth the trip.
