Question:

I am trying to find a reasonable all-inclusive resort in Mexico for mini-vaca with my husband!?

I have read every online review and there seem to be just as many good ones as awful ones for every resort. We've been to Secrets, which was amazing but just a bit out of our price-range these days. We don't need to be near any major hot spots in Cancun but we also don't want to be at a "Family" resort. We're leaving our 2 yr old home and just want to eat (and DRINK!) well....and veg out for a few days! Any suggestions??

  1. We love the Riu Cancun.  We've been there 4 times and will go back again.  Go to TripAdvisor.com and do some searches on the places you're interested in.  Good Luck and have a great trip!

  2. The Royal Cancun. It's new, adult only very luxiourious. I booked through book it .com and everything went very smooth! The place looks exactly like the pics on the site. Even better. We went for 2500.00 for 6 days, not bad.

  3. Have you tried looking for a spot other than Cancun?  Another popular place in Mexico that is very similar to Cancun is Cabo.  They are essentially the same place (but they are of course very far away from each other)

  4. Me and my wife went to Aventura Spa Palace. That place was awesome. No kids, like 6 restraurants and lots of bars. They even have their own club and nightly themed parties if your interested. Its not in the party zone of Cancun you have to travel like a hour or hour and a half to get there. The place is totally beautiful, the staff is great and they have a really good spa if interested. We are definetly going back. You can see it online at palaceresorts.com.

  5. just returned from the westin cancun and it was awesome. beautiful beach, great restaurants/bars and easy access to all of cancun. highly recommended. and we got a great deal on the place, combined with airfare we saved over 30% by using http://www.travelcuse.com

    good luck!

  6. I have been to cancun NUMERUS TIMES. i ALWAYS stay at the oasis cancun. it has 2 sides to it. and the pyramid in the middle but the right side of the hotel is very laid back and more for older people, but the left side of the hotel its for young people spring break crazyness... not sure which one is called phase 1 or phase 2. but they got huge pools, nice rooms, house keeping is nice, hotel is big, lots to do, sports bar, food every like 3 or 4 hours they open for people to eat, breakfast is AMAZING  gotta have that.

  7. As said above try the Palace Resorts web site.  They have several resorts in Cancun.  We stayed at the Moon Palace in 2002 and it was great.  Very large and clean, lots to do, great food and drink.  It is labeled a family resort but when we were there I don't recall seeing any children.

  8. Visit my page posadasanangel.com we can arrange a great and joyful time in Mexico City
