I am trying to find an experienced live in housekeeper in california any suggestions wher to look?

We are looking for a live in young female with some cleaning experience for cleaning and laundry, we are very nice, fair and will offer $200.00 per week plus 1 week paid vacation a year and rooma nd board. We have 4 young kids and 2 dogs so must like both. Once the person gets a handle ont he house the job will become less and less hours but the pay will not change. We need sopmeone organized who really likes to clean and needs a place to live.. anyone interested in working for a great family in Palos verdes, ca?

Go through an agency (which you can find in your yellow pages),

or read the "situations wanted" ads in your local newspaper,

or advertise for a live-in housekeeper in your local newspaper.

Make sure to ask for and check on at least three references,

even if they have nothing to do with housekeeping.

Although $200 plus room and, presumably, board,

including food, might be good for some people,

I would like to point out that 4 kids and 2 dogs

is quite a handful for anyone, much less a "young" person,

who probably wouldn't be as experienced as you'd want them.

We're not talking Alice for the Brady Bunch, here!  ;)

Of course, if all they'd be doing is cleaning,

and not baby/dogsitting, then it sounds like a good deal.

Lot's of luck on that one...You can make more than that working at Walmart...
