I am trying to find details on someones parent killed in the war before they were born?

Here are some details best lead wins and will make someone very happy. Harry Albert Self Born around 1919 got posted to Woolsthorpe by Belvoir when 25 died in the bombings has brothers sisters names unknown

Um, their parents couldn't have been killed before they were born, unless the mother died in childbirth. Sure, the father could have died before birth, but the mother had to have been alive at least until the baby exited the womb (because until then, it was depending on her for oxygen and such).

Was the family given any military paperwork with a military ID # on it?  I would think there would have to be a UK gov website that would give you a ways to search.
