I am trying to find out whether glucosamine would remain effective after being exposed to a very low heat?

the heat source is a food dryer, and would be for an extended period of time, say 6 hours.

  1. yeah, that is a good experiment and also check it out every 30mins for any changes and it would really help if you also note if changes occurring^_^

  2. well heat does drive chemical reactions to take place faster. as far as how would glucosamine be affected, well if there are any enzymes they could be destroyed, one way to tell might be by looking at any change in color, that would mean chemical reaction is taking place, even different smells might be an indication of chemical change.
