I am trying to fix my husbands papers with the help of an attorney can some body tell me or list me which applications or paper work do i need to submit. and what are the recent immigration laws about entering the us illegally and what is the penalty about it first timer so please any one with information about immigration would help

contact the department of immigration and ask what are the guide lines. also visit your local government representatives. they will guide you for free.

Did you mean 'without the help of an attorney"?  Because with the help of an attorney, my suggestion would be the rather obvious" ask the attorney!"

No offense, but, what are you paying the Attorney for? They should know what laws, and forms are required. Find a better Lawyer.
