  1. The nets are nice. The problem is you cant see the ball flight. You can pound balls into it for a week ingraining a swing into muscle memory.

It may be a good swing or a bad one. I would recommend using alignment aids or video your swing while using the net. I found myself just slopping balls into my net until I figured out I was doing more harm then good.

  2. I think it's worth it. I had one of those circular pop up nets and it allowed me to hit the ball inside my garage in the winter, and then take full swings in the summer without smacking the balls out into the woods. A very wise investment if you want to practice your swing.

You should also buy a piece of fake turf if you plan to hit balls indoors into the net.

  3. They are a good practice tool. There are times during the day when you may be able to sneak 30 minutes of practice in. Having a net allows you to take advantage of this time. 30 mins of practice 5 times a week can make a big difference especially if you have specific things/drills to work on.

Definitely consider getting yourself a net. I have one permanently set up in the yard. If you need a mat to hit off though, make sure it is a good quality mat with good cushioning.

  4. They are Brilliant.

If you are sore after 80 balls at the driving range but you still have 20 balls in the bucket, you usually keep going. Not if you have your own practise net.

Practise in your pyjamas if you want. You don't need the special trip to the Driving range.

Sprinkle flour on the top of your balls to see if you center the shot on your club head, and if they are flying straight onto the net.

    Have fun
