  1. You may end up having to sign up for what is called a "secured" credit card, where in order to have an ongoing $500 credit line, you'll have to front them $500 upfront so it's clear you have the money.

However, there are a few other things to try. Have you gotten your credit report? There's a lot of times where, even if you have bad credit legitimately, you will also have extra stuff hurting your credit score. I'd get my free credit report here first: http://npvos.com/click/?s=46023&c=82634&...

If it looks okay, good. Otherwise, you can contact those agencies and they can help clear it up.

Then, I would look into a service that helps you find the right card for you, and can look specifically at cards for those with less-than ideal credit. Try this link: http://hjlas.com/click/?s=46023&c=63880&...

Beyond that, your credit will improve over time, but probably not as fas as you want it to.

  2. I wouldn't try any more because you will add more inquires on your credit. You should start by adding couple of prepaid credit cards to your credit and paying them on time , they are easy to get and be honest with you they make pay it on time since you have to have the money in your account before you go shopping.

There ar e couple that I like that you should look in to it,

there is no fee on them, email me if you have more questions.

    Good Luck

  3. David P is correct, stop applying for credit cards, that should tell you that something is wrong.  Get a credit report and check over it to see what is wrong.  To repair and reestablish credit you will have to get a secured credit card or a secured loan that will be reported to the credit bureaus, thereby building good credit over a period of time.  By diminishing/deleting bad credit, and building good credit this will help you on the road to good credit.

  4. If you have no credit, or just made some settlements and got things in order Firestone, and Goodyear, are prettey lienent and a good place to start.

Now don't go applying there if you have judgements and chargeoffs, they are good starting places, when you just cleard up your credit.

  5. Yea but don't keep applying and letting them run your credit, its not much but it takes a couple points off everytime someone runs it and those inquires stay on for a year. Try a secure card they will most likely be your best bet but you are going to have to put down about 200 to open it, but hey if you want your credit back this may be the only way, and 200 isn't alto to put down.

  6. there are cards that don't do credit checks.  they are specifically for people with bad credit trying to get back on track.  I like this website http://applyforcreditnow.ecreditdirector... because they have a list of catagories for different types of cards depending on what YOU are looking for.  They have a link in the menu that says 'BAD CREDIT CREDIT CARDS'  you might be interested in the list of cards you can apply for.  Hope this helps.

  7. It takes time.  Try getting a secured credit card.  My first card was through Capitol One, after 6 months with my secured card they sent me an unsecured card with a $1000 limit.  After another 6 months I qualified to buy my house.

Stop applying for credit card for a while, too many inquiry's hurt your credit

  8. I agree with B. Try a secure card or Continental Finance Gold MasterCard. http://bestcreditcardratings.com/secured

  9. Just go to www.creditcards.com, there a many to choose from. Secure and unsecure cards. These cards will also report so to help you re-build your credit. Good Luck.
